About our PTO-Thrift Store
Johnsonville Elementary School is a partner of the PTO Thrift Store. The store operates through volunteers from the Cameron, Western Harnett, and the Overhills area. All profits are returned to 12 local area schools based upon each school’s percentage of the volunteer hours from October 1 – September 30. Johnsonville Elementary School has its own section in the volunteer book. There are many ways to volunteer, including attending a monthly volunteer meeting, recruiting new volunteers, conducting a donation drive, and even donating baked goods for special events that the Thrift Store hosts. Making contributions by any means allows us to do things we otherwise could not do for our students.
Please support the store through volunteering, donating items, or purchasing items at the store. All donations should be brought directly to the store.

Drop off gently-used items at the Thrift Store (everything except mattresses, computers, printers, vacuum cleaners, outdated car seats, floor model TVs, trash, etc.). We are not accepting donations from the 1st through the 7th each month.

Items needed: furniture, tools, clothes, shoes, toys, linens, houseware items, etc.

Receive a tax receipt slip.

Monetary donations and services are appreciated.

Our school earns money based on volunteer hours and donations. Tell them you are working for JES.

Monday Morning Cleaning - Everyone earns Double Hours between 7:30 am -10:00 am.
